  1. Bid Set: A set of blue prints that can be given to contractors, building supply companies and tradesmen for pricing quotes prior to you building the home.
  2. Right Reading Reverse: A "Right-Reading Reverse" option is also available for many plans. When you choose this option, the design will be reversed / mirrored and the text will read normally.
  3. Crawl Space: An area of limited height under a floor or roof, giving access to wiring and plumbing.
  4. Finished Basement Space: The lowest (underground) level of the home will be designed, during construction, to function as a fully habitable addition to the house
  5. Structural Engineering: Our structural engineers will analyze, design, plan, and research structural components and structural systems to achieve design goals and ensure the safety and comfort of your home. Their work will account mainly of safety, technical, economic and environmental concerns, but they may also consider aesthetic and social factors.
  6. Additional Hard Copies: Hard copies will be mailed to you in addition to the copies you have already purchased regardless of whether your original purchase was a electronic or hard copy.
  7. ICF Walls: Insulating concrete form or insulated concrete form (ICF) is a system of formwork for reinforced concrete usually made with a rigid thermal insulation that stays in place as a permanent interior and exterior substrate for walls, floors, and roofs. The forms are interlocking modular units that are dry-stacked (without mortar) and filled with concrete. The units lock together somewhat like Lego bricks and create a form for the structural walls or floors of a building. ICF construction has become commonplace for both low rise commercial and high performance residential construction as more stringent energy efficiency and natural disaster resistant building codes are adopted. ICFs may be used with frost protected shallow foundations (FPSF). (source: WIkipedia)
  8. Walkout Basement: This option is a feature that provides outdoor access to the ground level from the basement level.
  9. Roof Pitch Modify: The roof pitch is a numerical measure of the steepness of a roof. Roofs may be functionally flat or "pitched. This option allows you to modify the steepness or "pitch" of your roof.
  10. Wall Height Change: This option a lets you choose a custom wall height instead of the standard height provided by QHP.
  11. Site Plan: The house placed on the lot, displaying setbacks and the area on the lot in which the city or county will allow you to build.
